You Are The One

Luke 15:4-6  What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, “Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!”

The fact is, Believers do venture to and through the fence of the Pasture of Plenty. Satan does tempt us and at times we succumb and fail. The Good News is that the Good Shepherd never gives up on us or stops looking for us and calling us back.

When we stray through the fence out into the world of sin our Good Shepherd calls and calls until we hear His Voice and return. This is the Benefit of the Faithfulness of the Good Shepherd who never stops searching for the lost sheep. What a Benefit and Blessing!

God is so good! He loves us so much, He never stops searching for us. He never ceases to call our name to return to the Pasture of Plenty. What an awesome Heavenly Father whose Love never fails!

I am reminded of a wonderful song. Read the lyrics below; especially the Chorus. At some point we have all been that one lost sheep the Shepherd left the fold to find.

HERE I AM  (Sylvia Merle Green)

1st verse:
On that resurrection morning, when the redeemed are gath'ring in;
I'll be in that royal number, when they call my name.
When they all join in and sing, "Alleluia to the King!"
I'll cry with a joyful sound, "Lord, here I am."

Chorus:

Here I am, here I am!
I'm the one the Shepherd left the fold and found.
There were ninety and nine, but He left the fold to find
One little lost lamb, and here I am.

2nd verse
When old Gabriel blows the trumpet, and we rise in the air,
In less time than a split second, we'll be changed from here to there;
Where there'll be no grief or pain, perfect peace and joy shall reign,
Home at last I shall proclaim, "Lord, here I am."

Be grateful every day that the Good Shepherd left the fold to find you. What an awesome God we serve who loves us so much He will NEVER give up on us. Are you home in the Pasture of Plenty or have you jumped the fence and are running? The Good Shepherd is calling your name. Respond to His Call and say, “Lord, here I am." He is calling. Come home where you belong.

Responding to the Shepherds Call will.........turn the tide ..............in your life.

Lord, here I am.      Doreen
