Colossians 1:13-14 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the Kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have Redemption through His Blood, the forgiveness of sins.
Redemption is the word for the believer’s all-inclusive Benefit Package. Although Redemption and every Gift of God is free to us, it was by no means free. Jesus Christ paid the ultimate price so we may be redeemed. He did it just for you and me. The price He paid was His Blood.
I love the old hymn that says, Oh, the Blood of Jesus. Oh, the Blood of Jesus. Oh, the Blood of Jesus, that washes white as snow.
If Jesus hadn’t shed His Precious Blood on the Cross, there would be no Salvation for anyone on earth at any time. All Redemption is through His Blood, PERIOD. There is no other way. Jesus is the ONLY Way. He said, I am the Way the Truth and the Life. No man comes to the Father but by Me.
Once we fully understand the Power in the Blood of Jesus to bring Redemption, we are immediately conveyed from the world and all Satan’s darkness into the Kingdom of the Son of God, which is pure Light. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the Kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have Redemption through His Blood, the forgiveness of sins.
There, we can live the Abundant Life Jesus died for us to have. There, we can walk in Victory and Freedom! There, we have Power over the devil and all his demons and evil schemes. There is where God wants every person to be.
