Mark 11:24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
Jesus made us some awesome promises, and the above Passage of Scripture is one of them. It hinges on our belief. He said, Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
People pray but they don’t believe God can, or will, answer. That’s why they pray the same prayers over and over again. To receive, we must first believe.
God hears and answers our prayers based on our measure of faith. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. (James 5:15)
When we truly believe God will answer our prayer and trust Him to do so, we will no longer be burdened by the situation at hand. Instead, we simply give it to God and watch what He does. He may not act as we expect Him to, but He WILL act. Of that we can be assured.
An incident like this happened in my life twenty-two years ago, and it was a phenomenal moving of the Spirit of God. I will share that with you tomorrow, but for today, whatever it is you are struggling with, pray and BELIEVE you have already received the answer, and you will! This is a Promise given us by Jesus. You can trust in Him and His Word.
