Psalm 103:4 Who redeems your life from destruction,
We have spent several days discussing the spiritual implications of this verse, and we could spend every day for the rest of our lives and never touch on it all. The fact is, the Redemption Plan of God redeems us from every form of destruction the enemy may throw at us.
Whether it be physical, mental, domestic, financial, or emotional, God’s Redemption Plan covers it all. The English Standard Version of the Bible says it like this: who redeems your life from the pit, Satan wants us in the pit, but Jesus died on the Cross so we don’t have to be there. Born-again Christians have the choice whether to live in the pit or live an Abundant Life. Every day we make that choice.
Each morning, before we get out of bed, we need to decide where we will spend today. In the pits or in Freedom?
The Word of God says, This is the day that the Lord has made. Be glad and rejoice in it. You can’t be glad and rejoice in the day that the Lord has made if you are in the pit. God does not put us in the pit. Satan does. He robs us of our joy and peace and throws us in the pit but we don’t have to stay there. Jesus said, Look up! Your Redemption draws near.
Look up, my friend! Reach out to Jesus. He will redeem you from the pit. It doesn’t matter how long you have been there. You don’t have to stay there one more day. He WILL redeem your life from the pit if you will reach out to Him. You can’t get out on your own. If you could, you would have done it a long time ago.
You don’t have to spend one more day in the pit. Today is the day to look up! Claim your Redemption! All you have to do is call out to Jesus. He’s waiting. He’s been waiting for a long time. Why not make that call today? Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know. (Jeremiah 33:3)
Make that call. It will..........turn the tide ..........in your life.
Looking up! Doreen
