1 Peter 3:21-22 through the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, Who has gone into Heaven and is at the Right Hand of God, Angels and authorities and powers having been made subject to Him.
Jesus has been given authority over all Angels, authorities and powers in this world. This is insured by the Resurrection of Christ from the dead. He overcame Satan and all sin on the Cross, and the fact that He rose from the grave and is alive today, sitting at the Right Hand of God, is our assurance.
This is why it is imperative that we pray in the Name of Jesus. He has been given the Power of God over everything; Righteous and unrighteous. To pray in the Name of Jesus is not just to speak His Name. Anyone can say the word Jesus, but to claim the Name of Jesus is to fully believe in what He accomplished on the Cross.
It is this faith that causes God to move on our behalf and send His Righteous Angels to our rescue. It is faith in what Jesus did on the Cross that causes the Holy Spirit to move and be present in our lives.
Everything is based on our belief in what Jesus accomplished at Calvary. You cannot separate Jesus from the Cross. He was born to go to the Cross. Every step He took as a human being on earth was a step toward the Cross. His Ministry on earth was preparation for His Death on the Cross. His Resurrection sealed the deal, so to speak.
To be saved and truly born again, one must fully understand and believe in His Mighty Work on the Cross. Nothing else will do.
The Cross of Christ........ turn the tide........in your life.
