2 Corinthians 1:22 who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a Guarantee.  

 

What God says.....He will do. Every Prophecy in the Word of God either has already come to pass or will in the future. Every Promise of God, He will keep. That, my friends, is guaranteed. You can take it to the bank!

 

The Holy Spirit plays many roles in our lives, and one such role is our Guarantee. Many people (including Christians) don’t believe every Word of the Bible is true. They don’t believe God can, or will, keep His Promises. Nor do they believe the Prophecies will come to pass. 

 

Why would anyone who professes to be a Christian take this stand? The answer to that question could be because they don’t believe in the Power and Position of the Holy Spirit. The Christian denominations that have discounted and/or discredited the Holy Spirit have performed a horrible disservice to their people. 

 

The Word of God speaks of the Holy Spirit from the beginning to the end. Never discount Him. He is the Third Person of the Holy Trinity and, in addition to being our Teacher, Guide, and Counselor, He is our Guarantee that every Word in the Bible is true, every Prophecy will come to pass, and every Promise will be kept. 

 

Many things we purchase in this world come with warranties and/or guarantees, but most are limited to certain circumstances and provisions. Most people never read and understand the guarantee. The Word of God is Guaranteed by the Holy Spirit with NO LIMITATIONS! Do you understand it?

 

Whenever we see something repeated in the Bible, we need to pay close attention. The Spirit being a Guarantee is repeated by Paul in 2 Corinthians 5:5 Now He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who also has given us the Spirit as a Guarantee.  He says it again in Ephesians 1:13-14 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the Word of Truth, the Gospel of your Salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of Promise, who is the Guarantee of our inheritance until the Redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His Glory.
