Psalm 103:2-4 Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction,

 

Who redeems your life from destruction, This is an incredibly powerful, six-word statement! Jesus gave His Life to redeem YOUR life from destruction. What part of our life does this include, and from what forms of destruction can we be redeemed? 

 

Yesterday, we compared our Believer’s Benefit Package to a coupon we redeem for goods or services. Every coupon contains very small print explaining the exclusions and expiration date. The offer is only good for certain things, for a limited period of time. Praise God, this is not the case with Jesus!

 

Believers are granted an all-inclusive Benefit Package with NO LIMITS! Isn’t that wonderful! Our Redemption includes every aspect of our lives. Nothing is excluded!

 

While the enemy seeks to destroy us, Jesus came that we may have an abundant life! Jesus described this in John 10:10, The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. 

 

So many Christians live miserable lives just waiting to die and go to Heaven, where they can “cash in” their Salvation coupon. My friends, that is not abundant life! The Scripture says, He redeems your life from destruction,  I read this to include THIS LIFE; NOW! Redemption from any and all forms of destruction for our entire life, past, present, future, and for all of eternity. 

 

Today is the day to “cash in” your Redemption coupon and start living your life free from destruction! This is to understand your “Identity in Christ.” It could be compared to a person who comes to America from a foreign land where there is no freedom. When they have been granted their American citizenship, all of a sudden, they are no longer under the bondage of the dictator. They are free! 

 

As a born-again believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, you are free! Your life has been redeemed from ALL destruction. The enemy has no power over you unless you give it to him. As an American Citizen we know our rights. If someone came into our town and attempted to dictate to us, we would rise up and say NO! 

 

Do you know your Redemptive Rights as a Christian? It’s time to stand up and say NO to the devil. Kick him out and start living the abundant life Jesus died for you to have. You have been REDEEMED from ALL forms of destruction. There are no exclusions or limits. There is no expiration date.

 

Now, the choice is yours. You can cash in on the Benefit of Redemption, or not. Seems like a no-brainer to me!
